An unusual color combination with graceful, flowing fins! This 7" Midorigoi Butterfly Koi features rich olive-green coloration, warm golden highlights, and a distinctive arrangement of dark mirror scales.
The body displays beautiful greenish-gold tones, with brighter yellow-gold coloring around the head and shoulders. A dramatic row of dark scales runs along the back, creating an almost armor-like pattern against the lighter body.
What makes this koi especially appealing is its long, elegant Butterfly fins. The flowing tail and extended pectoral fins add graceful movement, while their soft, translucent coloration provides a lovely contrast to the darker body.
Midorigoi are appreciated for their uncommon green coloration, making them an interesting alternative to traditional red, white, and black koi. Their coloring may shift as they mature, adding to the enjoyment of watching them develop.
At 7 inches, this young Midorigoi Butterfly offers an attractive combination of unusual coloration, distinctive scaling, and flowing finnage.
For pond owners looking for something a little different, this koi certainly has plenty of character!
