An extraordinary combination of color, texture, and flowing elegance! This 10.5" Midorigoi Butterfly Koi features unusual olive-green coloration, brilliant golden highlights, and spectacular Butterfly fins.
The body displays rich olive-green tones accented by glowing yellow-gold coloration along the head and back. A dramatic arrangement of oversized black mirror scales runs down the spine, creating an almost armor-like pattern against the lighter body.
One of this koi's most remarkable features is its exceptionally long, flowing Butterfly finnage. The sweeping tail and extended pectoral fins create graceful movement, giving this koi a striking presence in the water.
The bright golden head provides a beautiful focal point, while the darker scaling adds contrast and dimension throughout the body.
Midorigoi are admired for their uncommon greenish coloration, which makes them especially appealing to koi enthusiasts looking for something beyond traditional red, white, and black varieties. Their coloration may continue to shift as they mature, making them fascinating fish to watch over time.
At 10.5 inches, this Midorigoi Butterfly already has a wonderful combination of size, distinctive scaling, and impressive finnage.
If you're looking for a koi that truly stands apart from the ordinary, this one deserves a place in your pond!
