This 7" Aka Shusui Butterfly Koi combines dramatic coloration with the graceful movement of long, flowing Butterfly fins.
Rich orange-red coloration extends across the head and sides, contrasting beautifully with the deep blue-gray to nearly black markings running along the back. The characteristic Doitsu body and prominent dorsal scales give this koi a distinctive, almost armored appearance.
What really sets this Aka Shusui apart is its finnage. The elongated pectoral fins and especially long, sweeping tail create impressive movement in the pond, with darker shading in the fins complementing the bold coloration of the body.
Aka Shusui are known for carrying considerably more red or orange than a traditional Shusui, making this a great choice for someone looking for a Shusui with a warmer, bolder appearance.
