Kloubec Koi has been suppling koi to myself and friends for over 12 years. In that time Ellen, Myron and other Kloubec family members have all taken the time to educate myself and friends to insure the health and happiness of all of our koi. Never once has a koi arrived unhealthy, damaged or sick. Thank you Kloubec family for providing us all joy and happiness when viewing our ponds. -Ekaterina Kovalenko

Ellen was a pleasure to deal with. I had ordered 7 fish, but when the weather became a bit unpredictable, she worked with me to ship them at a time of my choosing. They arrived in fine shape and were, of course, the ones I had ordered. Most koi breeders do not have on line selection of specific fish unless it is the quite large expensive ones. Thanks Ellen. I can recommend your company without reservation. -Philip Rush

Picked up some channel cat and minnows to restock the pond. Fish were high quality and great people to work with -Dietrich Johnson

This distinctive 8.5" Beni Kumonryu Koi features an eye-catching combination of vibrant red-orange beni, dramatic black markings, and a cool blue-white ground.

The large area of beni across the shoulders immediately draws the eye, while deep black markings across the head and along the back create bold contrast. What I especially like about this fish is the cooler blue-gray tone through the rear half of the body, which gives the pattern even more dimension.

Beni Kumonryu are particularly fascinating koi because their black pattern can change considerably as they mature, sometimes becoming stronger or lighter with changes in development, season, and water conditions. That makes this an especially fun koi to follow over time.

At 8.5 inches, this young koi already has a striking, unconventional pattern with plenty of character—and its future development could make it even more interesting.

Kloubec Koi Farm is a family-owned American koi breeder located on 80 acres with 60 outdoor ponds and a 300,000-gallon indoor facility. Our koi are bred and raised right here on our Iowa farm—we never import koi for resale. Every koi completes a comprehensive health and quarantine protocol before being offered for sale, and our farm has never had a case of Koi Herpes Virus (KHV).
