Bold, fiery, and full of personality! This 7" Doitsu Showa Koi makes a dramatic impression with its brilliant orange-red coloration and striking black markings.
The rich red-orange coloring dominates much of the body, creating a vibrant background for the irregular black sumi patterns that stretch from the head toward the tail. The contrast is especially eye-catching across the shoulders, where large black markings break up the fiery coloration.
Its smooth Doitsu skin gives the colors a clean, vivid appearance, while the lighter pectoral fins and pale face provide a welcome touch of contrast.
Unlike Showa with more evenly distributed red, white, and black, this individual has a distinctly red-dominant appearance that gives it an especially dramatic look.
At 7 inches, this young koi offers the opportunity to watch its black sumi and overall pattern continue to develop as it matures.
If you appreciate koi with big color, bold markings, and plenty of attitude, this little Doitsu Showa is ready to make an impression!
