Soft blue-gray coloring meets beautiful touches of orange-red in this 7.5" Asagi Koi!
This young Asagi features a lovely silvery-blue body with delicate dark markings scattered across the scales, creating a subtle, textured appearance. The cooler coloration provides a beautiful contrast to the warm orange-red accents around the head, shoulders, and fins.
One of this koi's most interesting features is the way the darker scale pattern becomes more noticeable toward the front of the body, adding depth and character to its appearance.
The pale face provides a soft contrast to the colorful shoulders, while the lightly colored fins and tail complete its graceful appearance.
Asagi are one of the oldest recognized koi varieties, traditionally admired for their blue-gray scales and red-orange accents. Their distinctive coloration makes them a wonderful addition to ponds filled with more familiar red, white, and black varieties.
At 7.5 inches, this young Asagi offers an opportunity to enjoy watching its colors and scale pattern develop as it matures.
