For the koi keeper who loves something different, this 19" Jumbo Karasugoi Koi makes a dramatic addition to the pond with its deep, nearly solid black coloration and impressive size.
Karasugoi are known for their dark, understated appearance, and this koi displays rich charcoal-black coloration from head to tail. Subtle definition within the scales creates texture across the body, while lighter highlights along portions of the fins become visible as the fish moves through the water.
At 19 inches, this Karasugoi already has substantial body and presence. Its dark coloration creates a striking contrast alongside red, white, yellow and metallic koi, making it an especially interesting addition to a mixed collection.
Rather than relying on an elaborate pattern, this koi stands out through size, powerful simplicity and its uncommon dark appearance.
This koi was bred and raised at Kloubec Koi Farm in Amana, Iowa—we never import koi for resale.
