A remarkable combination of color, texture, and graceful movement makes this 12.5-inch Midorigoi Butterfly Koi a standout addition to any koi collection.
Its rich golden-olive body features distinctive dark mirror scales that create a dramatic, armor-like pattern along the back. Warm amber and copper highlights add depth to its coloring, while the bright golden face provides an eye-catching contrast.
What truly sets this koi apart is its exceptionally flowing butterfly finnage. Long, sweeping pectoral fins and an elegant, trailing tail create beautiful movement in the water, giving this koi a graceful appearance despite its bold pattern.
The combination of unusual coloration, pronounced scales, and impressive fins makes this an excellent choice for pond owners seeking something different from traditional red-and-white koi.
This koi was bred and raised at Kloubec Koi Farm in Amana, Iowa. We never import koi for resale.
Our family-owned American koi farm encompasses 80 acres, more than 60 outdoor ponds, and a 300,000-gallon indoor facility.
Every koi completes our comprehensive health and quarantine protocol before being offered for sale. Our farm has never had a case of KHV.
