This striking 11" Beni Kikokuryu Koi features an impressive combination of fiery orange-red beni, metallic silver-white coloration, and bold black sumi.
The bright beni stretches prominently across the head and along both sides of the body, creating a vivid contrast against the cool metallic ground. Dark sumi markings add another layer of drama, particularly across the head and fins.
One of this koi's most interesting features is the distinctive scaling along the back, where the darker centers contrast against the metallic surrounding color and create a beautifully defined, almost armored appearance.
Beni Kikokuryu are especially appealing for koi keepers who enjoy fish with a dramatic, changeable appearance. The combination of metallic luster, sumi, and warm beni can give these koi a completely different look depending on lighting and as they continue to mature.
At 11 inches, this koi already has excellent pond presence and offers a particularly bold combination of warm orange-red and cool metallic tones.
