Bold color is the defining feature of this 10" Hi Ogon Koi. Its body is covered in a rich fiery orange-red coloration that extends from the head through the body and into the fins.
The uniform coloration allows the scale pattern and reflective quality of the skin to take center stage. Each scale catches the light, creating a bright, almost glowing appearance that becomes particularly noticeable as the koi moves through the pond.
The pectoral fins carry the same warm coloration with lighter edges, complementing the body while adding another flash of color in motion.
At 10", this Hi Ogon already has excellent pond presence, and its intense single-color appearance makes it especially effective alongside white, black, blue or patterned koi.
This koi was bred and raised at Kloubec Koi Farm in Amana, Iowa—we never import koi for resale.
