Meet Bandit, a bold 10" Showa Koi with an intense combination of fiery red-orange hi, deep black sumi and contrasting white.
Bandit's most distinctive feature is the dramatic sumi across the head, creating a dark, mask-like appearance that inspired the name. Heavy black markings continue across the body, breaking through the vibrant red-orange coloration and giving this Showa a powerful, high-contrast look.
Unlike a more white-dominant Showa, Bandit carries extensive hi and substantial sumi, creating a darker, richer overall appearance. Small areas of white provide flashes of contrast and keep the three traditional Showa colors visible.
The fully scaled body adds texture and definition to the pattern, particularly where the black and red pigmentation move across the individual scales.
For someone who prefers a bold, dark Showa rather than a delicate pattern, Bandit has plenty of character and immediate pond presence.
