Rich red-orange hi dominates the head and extends across much of the body, while areas of clean white create contrast along the sides and toward the tail. What makes this koi especially interesting is the dark reticulation developing over the colored areas, creating a textured, almost shadowed appearance across the scales.
Rather than presenting as a simple red-and-white koi, the darker scale definition gives this individual considerably more depth and character. The pattern changes visually as you move from the intensely colored head through the heavily reticulated midsection and into the lighter rear portion of the body.
