Kloubec Koi has been suppling koi to myself and friends for over 12 years. In that time Ellen, Myron and other Kloubec family members have all taken the time to educate myself and friends to insure the health and happiness of all of our koi. Never once has a koi arrived unhealthy, damaged or sick. Thank you Kloubec family for providing us all joy and happiness when viewing our ponds. -Ekaterina Kovalenko

Ellen was a pleasure to deal with. I had ordered 7 fish, but when the weather became a bit unpredictable, she worked with me to ship them at a time of my choosing. They arrived in fine shape and were, of course, the ones I had ordered. Most koi breeders do not have on line selection of specific fish unless it is the quite large expensive ones. Thanks Ellen. I can recommend your company without reservation. -Philip Rush

    Sinking koi food

Very disappointed in this "sinking" koi food. Only one-third of the pellets thrown out actually sink.

    KENZEN Koi Food (7mm Sinking)

Posted by Tom Zurek on 23rd Apr 2020

I have been feeding my koi with both the floating and sinking 7mm koi diet for two years with great results. They seem healthier and the water keeps its ph balance stable. Those are my observations.

    Great quality food

Posted by Kristy on 11th Oct 2018

I’ve used this food for 3 years now and my 15 Koi and 2 goldfish love it. We have approx. 3,000 gallon outdoor pond and feed until early November with this food. I started feeding them the sinking food this year so I wouldn’t have the floating go into the skimmer and waste it. Only reason I don’t give a 5 Star is that approx. 1/4of each scoop doesn’t sink... it still floats and I have to stand out there until gone so it doesn’t go into the skimmer. It’s great quality food and I pay good money for it, but donat want to waste any thought the skimmer... I don’t know why a lot of it floats instead of sinking.. this is my 3rd bag of sinking and it still has the same amount that floats with every scoop.. Other than that, my fish are beautiful and healthy. No waste and my water is always clear...I always say” junk in junk out” and it’s true... I highly recommend this quality food!

Wow! Our Koi love this food.

$75 for 10# of fish food might sound like a lot. But it is worth it! First 10# of this food is a lot of food. Second, there is no waste whatsoever. Whatever the fish don't eat immediately is still there for them when they get hungry again. Finally, the fish like the food and are growing like fast. We will definitely keep buying this sinking food from Kloubec. A supplier you can trust.

    Healthy choice

Posted by Jorn Beam on 9th Dec 2016

My koi eat this food with great vigour. Some times I worry they will hurt each other in a feeding frenzy. I have been mixing floating and sinking for this reason. Feed 3x's daily in summer and winter 42f water, but in very conservative amount. Feed all year along and the koi will let us know. The fish are back for more just after feeding like they never ate but are growing nicely. Lots if show winners as result. Greatly reduced sickness due to feeding keenzen, in spring.

    Koi Lovers Diet

Posted by Joan Nash on 7th Nov 2016

Kenzen was recommended to me by a koi breeder. I have a mixture of koi and comets in my backyard pond. They enjoy the sinking pellets and there is no waste. There is no shipping charge and I receive the shipment in a few days. It is very easy to reorder. I searched the internet and tried other koi diets in the past but Kenzen is the best.

Wow, less poop, can lightly feed in late fall, using for 2 yrs.

Posted by Robert Grenkowitz on 8th Jun 2016

First off 10 star for Kenzen koi food - Been using since 2114. 1. Kenzen does not blow stomach up - it does not have corn in it which acts like popcorn in koi stomach eventually blows koi stomach up over the years. When I went and visited 6 koi farm growers in Japan 1996 to 2002, they all said not to use corn, corn meal, anything with corn in it. Wemt to Tokyo Koi Show. Saw 42" koi - saw $50,000 to $75,000 koi being sold. 2. If you have a crowed pond, the food makes less poop resulting in better water quality. 3. I have feed koi late into Nov, but only two to three times a week. They say you can feed thru winter, but our pond ices over. 4. I use the Kenzen floating 7mm to feed our larger koi and after done I feed the smaller 4mm to 7mm sinking Kenzen food to feed the smaller koi.

    Great product

Posted by Joel Lege on 21st Mar 2016

Great product. Only thing is I wish it came in smaller pellets. 7mm is too large for majority of my koi at the moment.
